Standby Food – Keep at Arms Reach at All Times!
- If you're out and about and get caught hungry you're much more likely to make bad food choices. The convenience of vending machines, drive throughs and take away are a common downfall. You can head off this problem by always having some allowable snacks on hand.
- Organise healthy stand by snacks in advance, having a zip lock bag with a 30 gram portion of mixed nuts, small apples or oranges on hand will stop you getting caught out.

I'm so glad others have mentioned how hungry they are! I'm on day 1 and I've been starving all day! I'm definitely chopping up lots of veges and a little cheese to have on hand tomorrow. Does anyone know if feeling this hungry is expected? Will it subside after a few days?

i`m hungry alot but i`m beating it with water and i keep saying to myself that I CAN DO THIS AND I WILL DO THIS.......I want and need my body back. GOOD LUCK to everyone WE ALL CAN DO THIS.

Mrsinger I used to have 2-3sugars in my tea! I now have none! You get used to the taste. I had a tea with sugar in it the other day and it was sooooo sweet! Try using teas with strong flavours. I like twinings Assam bold. Good luck!

I have only used water. I make my shakes in advance and make them really cold in fridge or even the freezer and they thicken up. Drink them through a straw which is slower and enjoy the shake. If I am having a day where I just want to eat I treat myself with a Banana smoothy. A vanilla shake blended with water and a small banana. It is just Devine and very filling. Hope that helps.

I have just completed my first day on the program,i had a cup of tea with milk and tried with no sugar, OMG yuk. SO I put half a teaspoon in. Other than that I think I did pretty well. Just taking 1 day at a time as im a BIG sweet tooth

If u r really motivated, and start doing this religiously it works amazingly. U mite just have sacrifice a little bit of ur sleep. All u have to do is go for about 40mins or an hour walk early in the morning before the start of your day. Basically this should b the start. U should finish a 500ml of water on ur walk bk home. Freshen up n have a shake for brekky. U can snack fruit n nuts before lunch. Tuna salad is best for lunch. Have your fruits. Drink water as much as u can through out the day. In 6weeks u r guaranteed to lose at least 8 - 10kg. Yes it works. Try it out. Goodluck people.......

gum and apples make me hungry also. i cant use them in my diet. my tip is have a routine for eg mine is 7 am- coffee 7:30am-shake 8am-glass of water 10am-cup of tea 11am-water 12pm-shake 1pm-water 2pm-water 3pm-fruit 4pm-coffee 5pm-dinner 6pm-water 7pm-water in bed buy 8:30 this way im always in the kitchen and putting something in my mouth. im always getting up and i have plenty of water and i feel content at the end of my day. good luck girls and i hope this might help some of you that are like me.

Hi all! Apples for some reason, make me hungrier than I was before hand! It is ridiculous! So I am having apple cut up into small pieces at about 11am then a shake at about 12.15pm. Afternoon is better as I am having a handful of Almonds and a snack bar about an hour afterwards.... Is this ok?? (this is only my second day - but I am feeling really good about it - and am having no issue saying "no" to treats - but I am starving...a lot of the time.) I'm a bit lost but think I am on the right track, is anyone else starving?

ive done this many times but this time i find it very hard to start again. i get very hungry in the first three days.. any tips???

great ideas guys im new to this all try my hardest to slim right down for my daughter and my wedding next year iv never stayed with or on a dite with out giving up or cheating so wish me luck this the thing hardest for me to is that i dont have the support my hubby to me loves me in every way but saying that i wsh he could trll me i need to work harder or t try harder he tells me i dont need to lose weight he loves me the way i am but i need to my health is very bad im sick all the time a very very over weight dont want to look back at old wedding photos and regect the way i look good luck every one stay strong

ive just put a snack bar in my bag as an emergency just in case i get caught out snack. i hadnt realised how many snack bars i had but im not planning on having 1 every day so they should last a good length of time. if i get hungry whilst out i buy a bottle of water to start with and if that doesnt work i get an apple/apple slices which together put me on until i can get home. i also found chewing sugar free gum stops me feeling as hungry

I chop a meal bars into 14 small chunks and put about 5 in a small plastic tub in my handbag for emergencies!
