Alcohol Consumption

When mentioned, the word "Alcohol" conjures up many a conversation, and most people associate it with fun, letting their hair down and parties! The good news is that on The Celebrity Slim Program, a glass of dry white or red wine can be enjoyed up to 2-3 days per week. Your body treats alcohol like a carbohydrate though, so the more alcohol you drink the less fat you lose.

Every time alcohol is drunk, a diuretic effect occurs in the body, which in turn expels vital vitamins and minerals, especially B-group vitamins that keep your nervous system, hormone production, hair and nails in good shape.

Alcohol also places an enormous strain on the liver, which reduces its ability to detoxify the body. Over consumption of alcohol can lead to fatigue and dehydration, as well as disruptive sleep patterns, and can deplete many vital nutrients from the body.

Been walking 4kms a day.... 2 up hill & 2 down hill to get home & hv even managed to jog some of it by the end of the week....hv had to fight the negative thoughts in the head that its a waste of time and that it's not going to work, but the scales told a different story in weigh in today... 5kg.. Yipeeeeeeee!!!!!!

I have 1/2 glass wine and the rest mineral water,cuts down calories. I find straight wine now is to strong.
